The room was at the back of the hotel where the air vent from nearby restaurants also came out. If you opened the window for some fresh air, you got cooking smells as a gift and a constant loud noise from ventilation throughout the night. You get used to the constant noise, but considering the cooking smells, a room on the street side might be better.

It was hot, it was loud, the floor in the corridor was sticky, and the shared bathroom and toilet weren't all that clean

Door was locked when we arrived. Someone eventually came to let us in after 10 minutes of waiting outside in the dark. There was rubbish on the floor. No toiletries. Very noisy with loud mechanical sounds through the night. Very dated, tired building, more like a hostel than a hotel. Way overpriced.
