A staff was absolutely amazing. Everyone was so kind and helpful throughout our stay. They helped us book visits and excursions, make restaurant reservations, and arrange transport to the airport. Everyone was always in such a good mood, and the welcome we received at breakfast every morning was just amazing. I felt the hotel lived up to its photos. Clean and friendly and the pool area and gardens are beautifully kept. Relaxed atmosphere and no panic for getting a sunbed by the pool. Breakfast has a great selection too. Only very minor thing was the two lifts weren’t enough for the size of the hotel but no big deal. I would highly recommend this hotel.

It is located in a beautiful place. Living in a ground floor room with garden access is a unique experience: it feels like having your own tropical garden. The indoor wellness area complements the outdoor pools well. The view of the ocean from the outdoor pool is fantastic.

The room had a too strong scented air freshener. It took days to air out. Although there was a gluten-free option for breakfast, the variety was limited.

The furniture is starting to show its age, but it wasn't important to us.

The pool is large and pleasant. Plenty of sun loungers and a large jacuzzi-pool that is very good for relaxing. The breakfast is very good. The location is very good. We didn't want Funchal so being close to the Lido area is perfect.

The furniture in the rooms is old and boring, needs to be renewed. There was a bathtub instead of a shower, which I particularly don't like, it's also quite slippery and high to get in and out. The fridge didn't close properly. The beds were terrible. I also didn't like eating by the pool, I would prefer a lounge or room to eat. But that's more of my personal preference.
