Location is central.

This hotel is what I would describe as rather “shady.” It is located directly above a bar (run by the same owner), which is very busy both on weekends and during the week, with loud music and people gathering outside. The bar’s neon lights illuminate the rooms at night, and it was not possible to close the blinds properly—they even had tape over the controls indicating that they should not be used. While the central location is convenient (honestly, the only positive aspect of this hotel), the street felt quite unsafe at night, with many drunk men hanging around the area—not just guests of the bar. In the morning, it gets very noisy due to garbage trucks passing directly by the hotel. Most importantly, there is no reception or proper point of contact. You have to make your payment for the hotel at the bar. Even getting a proper receipt/invoice seemed to be a major challenge: mine eventually contained several errors, including typos, incorrect dates, and the wrong amount. The lack of a reception or emergency contact became even more concerning when the fire alarm went off at 6 a.m. one morning. We quickly realized that the alarm was apparently not connected to the fire department, police, or even the hotel owner. All hotel guests were standing outside in their pajamas and had to figure out how to get help ourselves. Luckily, a neighbor managed to contact the owner, who arrived about 45 minutes later. The same neighbor told us that this had apparently happened around 10–12 times before, usually in the early morning, due to what seem to be recurring technical issues. Definitely not a nice—or reassuring—way to start the day. The rooms themselves were clean, but furnished with only the bare minimum (for example, there was not even a bedside light). The shower had almost no water pressure and produced little more than a trickle.€90 might seem cheap for Luxembourg, but it is way overpriced for what you get. I would
The goal of a hotel is to be able to sleep there, which is impossible in this one
Location near the train station - practical and convenient, but very noisy. In the area there are many hotels, some of them significantly more expensive, but the noise probably bothers all equally. The room was clean; soap and shampoo were provided; bed linen and towels were fresh and clean.

The room is too small for two people. The bed covers a socket. The door handle to the shower room was broken. The toilet tank fills up very slowly.
