The room wasn’t ready on time
The staff was great, the room was comfy. My kids enjoyed their stay. My second time staying at the Royal Sonesta River North, no hotel is perfect but this one tries to come close and it’s appreciated. Outdoor patio on the 17th floor is a great place for evening drinks.

The bathroom walls had some reddish stains by the shaving mirror, not a biggie, looked like maybe someone had a lipstick mishap. But the flat sheet on the bed had some old stain on it, looked like brownish, faded smudges of some sort. Kinda unsettling once I saw it, but didn’t notice it until I was packing for departure so whatever it was, I slept with that. 😖
