Food taste, that is good

When we were there, the swimming pool was not functioning, we had to carry our luggage ourselves to the room during check-in and checkout. Overall, a very average experience as if we are staying in any random hotel.

We stayed here recently and while there were some positives, the hotel is in need of a proper refresh and consistent upkeep. Where it fell short: - The property feels genuinely outdated, maintenance felt rushed and uneven. For example, a bathroom wall had been repaired but touched up in a noticeably different shade of paint. Wall tiles were cracked in places too. - Furniture throughout the bedrooms and dining areas looked old and tired, with visible peeling and wear that really shouldn’t be the case. - Pool note: The pool was closed during our stay for renovation, while we appreciate improvements are coming, it was disappointing not to be notified in advance and not able to use it. - The hotel sits right beside a very busy road constant traffic and vehicle beeping is clearly audible, day and night. Light sleepers may struggle. - Great relief: the bedding was spotlessly clean, and the room itself was kept tidy. No complaints there at all. - Dinner and breakfast were perfectly okay plenty of options to choose from. That said, I did wish fresh fruit was available at dinner; the dessert selection was quite limited, just ice cream, two warm options like pudding, and some processed sweets. - One small breakfast note: the croissants and pastries were dense and bread-like rather than light, buttery and flaky as you’d expect.
