Cleanliness could be improved. A little more rigor in accounting and understanding. Few sunbeds at the pool.

The pool area could use some freshening up - but the pool itself was great!
I stayed a full week, mainly because of the good and convenient location in the centre of Papeete. The room was spacious and had all that was needed - in fact more than that since I had two huge beds just for myself. Staff were generally kind and helpful, and with a gas station small supermarket next door the minifridge didn't need to stay empty.

Others have commented the same: the hotel has a tired look and feel, gloomy almost. The look of a 2 or 3 star hotel for the price of a 4 star or more - it is ridiculously expensive. And yes, beware of the rooms on the street side: very noisy.
The bedroom and bathroom without a window, very high bathtub not easily accessible. Non-functioning extractors in the bathroom or toilet area. Safe not present. Very small sink and only one mirror in the bathroom. Neither an oven nor a stove was present in the kitchenette. What a Suite!

On arrival after a 12 hr travel day arriving at 1030 pm they could not find my reservation through hotels.com 45 minute delayThen my wife was in the workout area doing pushups when a staff member came and yelled at her
