Our room was clean with a nice bathroom. The beds were comfortable. There was an excellent morning breakfast buffet. The hotel had a nice lobby level restaurant where we had dinner one evening with excellent food and service. The best part of staying here was the location as it was a safe neighborhood, with good side walks for easy walking, interesting nearby neighborhoods, good restaurants and stores to explore.

Our tour group stayed here for 2 nights at the start of our trip and one night at the end of our trip. The staff did not speak very good English, but it was clean and comfortable. Air conditioning did not work but I understand that is a problem in China... It was a good location for our needs.

Like the rest of the surrounding area, this place hasn’t changed in 20 years. The hotel is nice, with some Tibetan decorations, but that’s just it. It’s simple and old. Though, for the price it’s still ok. It’s nestled in the Tibetan area with a lot of Tibetan restaurants, Tibetan shops and Tibetan monks wandering around. An ok hotel if you’re on a budged and not staying longer than 2 nights

This is an Tibetan Hotel in Chengdu. Our tour group were welcomed with silk scarves which was a lovely experience. This was a two night stay and I enjoyed my stay. Breakfast was adequate, but then I travel with items so I always have my ideal

An older hotel, good friendly service but the windows didn't close very well without the right knack for closing. Comfortable bed.

I was here for a couple of nights in September. I'm a frequent traveler in China. The personnel was fine. The place is simply older. I found the breakfast okay. Plenty of variety. Just better places. Towels in the room were worn. Bedding clean, but older. Stuff like this makes me say, "Old and Tired."

We stayed at Minshan Lhasa Grand Hotel for 2 nights in September while on a group tour of China. We had the most delightful Tibetan welcome on arrival and were each presented with a scarf. We stayed in room 6533 which was quiet and comfy but rather tired and in need of refurbishment. The room had small twin beds, TV, mini bar, tea/coffee making facilities, 2 complimentary bottles of mineral water daily, free Wi-Fi, air con, hairdryer and a room safe (but which we couldn’t get to work). Bathroom had a walk-in shower but the shower door wouldn’t close properly so we used the shower mat to absorb any leakage. They had nice thick towels, toweling face flannels, a few complimentary toiletries, bathroom scales, dressing gown and complimentary slippers. Did not dine in so can’t comment on the restaurant. Breakfast offered a reasonable selection of hot and cold buffet in the restaurant on the 2nd floor. The hotel offers a laundry service. Staff at this hotel were lovely. They also gave us a friendly send off when we left.

Lovely Tibetan welcome and everyone was given a scarf.Rooms were not a great standard but adequate for 2 nights.Breakfast again adequate. Could walk around in the evening to restaurants and Tibetan quarter. Used as a base to visit Jin Li street and Tibetan temple.
