Pri príchode sme zistili, že nám nefunguje zámok na izbe, išli sme to nahlásiť no bolo nám povedané, že inú izbu nemajú a nemajú to ako vyriešiť. Vzhľadom ns to, že sme boli 2 ženy bolo nám veľmi nepríjemne. Keď sme spali opakovane sme sa prelaknute zobudili na to, že otvára dvere (asi upratovačka) aby zistila, či už môže upratovať - veľmi nepríjemné. Moja posteľ bola v strede zlomená a neuveriteľne vŕzgala.

This was the second time I had stayed here. This time I chose an 8-person room; previously, I stayed in a 6-person dorm. Contrary to appearances, an 8-person dorm offers more privacy because the room is effectively divided into two sections, each with 4 people. Each section also has its own toilet and shower, which is undoubtedly convenient. Between the rooms of the 8-person dorm, there is a shared hallway with a refrigerator and an oven (or something of that sort). This time, I didn’t have breakfast on-site, but for just a little bit more, you can enjoy a much tastier and more varied buffet breakfast at one of two nearby 4-star hotels. And, of course, one of the undeniable perks of this hostel is the Finnish sauna and the cold, saltwater pool located on the -1 level. For those who enjoy saunas and know how to use them properly (I’d like to extend my thanks to the guys from Portugal and Czechia, as well as to the girl (I’m not sure where she’s from) — meaning without textiles, sitting or lying only on a towel — I recommend visiting in the morning; there are fewer people then, and the sauna etiquette is observed correctly. In the evenings, unfortunately, that is completely lacking. For those who enjoy morning runs or walks, there is a great spot nearby – Park U Vody. Highly recommended!

A rather cold and curt welcome from the Black female receptionist during check-in; the guys at the front desk on subsequent days were cool. The price for breakfast seems to have gone up a bit since my last stay in the spring of 2026.
