We booked Arbel for its quiet location and reviews praising cleanliness — unfortunately our experience didn't match. For a rate close to 5-star pricing, the room felt more budget than boutique: small windows made it feel closed-in, the bed was very uncomfortable, and the air conditioning was outdated and barely effective, which mattered a lot in the Tel Aviv heat. There was no breakfast included or available on-site at all — we were directed to a nearby café on Dizengoff to buy our own, which turned out to have terrible reviews itself. There wasn't even coffee or tea in the room to start the day. Housekeeping was only done on check-in day — no real cleaning during our stay after that. The hotel is also quite far from the sea, which was a disappointment given the location was one of our main reasons for booking. We had planned to stay a full week but checked out after night two due to poor value for money. The one clear positive: Milan on reception staff was excellent — genuinely helpful and went beyond his role to assist us. He's the reason this isn't a 1-star review.

We were a couple with our dog, excellent location in the old north of Tel Aviv, quiet location, a minute's walk and you are in the heart of Dizengoff, breakfast at Cafe Dizengoff through the hotel (a minute's walk) very tasty, the hotel is clean, the outdoor lobby is beautiful and very inviting with seating areas and a pleasant atmosphere, we were in a room with a large terrace and a view, the room is clean and pleasant, in short, a great place with an excellent location, we enjoyed it very much and highly recommend it
