As a Genius Level 3 frequent traveler who utilizes Booking.com extensively, I rarely write reviews this negative, but my experience at ASTRA HOTEL IN PRAGUE absolutely unacceptable. The breakfast was appalling. I was shocked to find two pieces of cake completely covered in mold served at the hotel breakfast buffet. To document this clear health hazard, I immediately took clear photos of the moldy cake with the hotel's reception desk and logo visible in the background. When I brought this directly to the hotel management, they did absolutely nothing and completely ignored the severity of the issue. Due to their total lack of responsiveness, I escalated the matter to Booking.com customer support. While Booking.com informed me that they contacted the hotel and were awaiting a response, it has now been over a week with absolute silence from both parties. Serving spoiled, moldy food is a major safety violation, but the complete lack of customer service and accountability from the management makes it even worse. I highly recommend avoiding this hotel if you value your health and expect professional service.

Older furnishings, small bathroom, small toilet, had nowhere to put my legs 🙂 Cold sausages for breakfast.

The hotel is in a quiet neighborhood. Two minutes walk from the bus stop, five minutes walk from the metro stop. The furnishings are old, but it is clean everywhere. The staff is very responsive. Breakfast was also very good.
