The only small point to note concerns a slight odor sometimes present in the bathrooms, an inconvenience that we have also noticed in other establishments in Azerbaijan and seems quite common. However, this remains a minor detail that has not affected the overall quality of our stay.

Booked a triple room for one night for two people (my spouse and me). Upon check-in (I arrived at the hotel alone to leave my belongings), we were quickly registered, and that's where the positives ended. The first thing that puzzled me was the shabby corridor, the entrance doors to the rooms, and the carpet runner. Specifically in the room, the entrance door is just beaten up, the door leaf around the lock is pried open. I enter: the room is smoky, musty, and scented with some masking aroma. All the furniture and decor are outdated, battered, and unkempt. The bathroom is clean. I ask to change the room, they change it to a smaller room (102). I inquire about the cost, and the administrator replies that the price is the same. I was in a hurry, did not delve into details, and the next day I saw a price difference of almost 30 dollars. The new room turned out to be the same as the previous one, only the smell was slightly better. Also, in the room, despite having a kettle, there were no cups or teaspoons. When I asked the administrator where I could get a cup and spoon, the answer was that they did not have them, only in the restaurant, but it is closed now. In the morning, there was a terrible sewage smell in the bathroom. In the morning, we left for the competition, then my wife returned to the room, and they refused to let her have breakfast, claiming that I supposedly booked a single (double!!!) room and she needed to pay extra. Overall conclusion: 3 out of 10 for everything. The hotel is not worth the money and do not trust the images, everything is much worse. The price of such accommodation is a maximum of 20-30 dollars per night.
