The window is not soundproof, loud music played on the street every night.

The staff couldn't do enough for you, every single one met you with a smile and a warm greeting, no matter what time of day you bumped into them. The room was spacious and clean, the shower was huge! Plenty of free water every day topped up for us which was handy. Laundry service was excellent, we came home with suitcases full of clean washing all folded neatly so we could just pack it as it was. Food at breakfast was nice, not all to my particular taste but it was always topped up well and the staff were great at meeting your needs if you had specific requests, like plain noodles for my vegetarian daughter. We were provided with beach towels at our request which was great as we could get ours washed before coming home and didn't need to bother using them again for the remainder of our stay. It's a great budget hotel!

I wouldn't say there's anything in particular I really disliked, yes the location is in a busy area across from bars and yes it can be noisy but I'd say it gets quiet around 10pm, sometimes a little later but it's just music and people singing so I wouldn't complain about that. Our bathroom extractor fan made a very loud noise which at first was annoying but it came to be quite funny as it sounded like an angry tiger so the kids found it funny saying there was a tiger stuck in the fan every time we turned it on. Could do with more coat hangers in the wardrobe as we only had 4 provided and we had 4 people's worth of clothes to hang, and we didn't have an iron in the room so our clothes were creased and there was nowhere to hang them.

Some nights there are some performances/shows on the streets right below the building. I personally did not mind it.
