Poslali mi špatný kód a když jsme se snažili dovolat na emergency číslo na bráně, nikdo velmi dlouho nebral jen automat až nám došli kredity. Pomohl nám náhodně oslovený soused, který opakovaně volal asi hodinu. Pak poslali nový kód a ten fungoval. V pokoji je nedostatečné vybavení kuchyně: 1 talíř, 1 hrnek, 1 kastrol a pánev, málo příboru a jen stará el.dvouplatnička, lednice a dřez, nic víc. Musel jsem si opravit lampičku nad posteli, která vysela jen na odkrytých drátech, klika na WC se rozpadala, v koupelně je jen malinké umývadlo, nejde se tam mýt (sotva ruce tam strčíte), navíc neodtékal kanál, na sprše visela jedna část skleněných dveří jen silou vůle, prkénko na záchodě bylo uvolněné, zabudovaný fén padal ze zdi, byla k dispozici žehlička, ale nebyla tam zásuvka pro její připojení, v celé místnosti jen jedno svítidlo, žádná skříň na odložení věcí... Parkování na malém dvorku je za 20 CHF za noc.

Mold, unsafe, unclean, terrible staff. On arrival: the door to the central area was open, anyone could walk in. The door to our appartement was open. Upon closing it we couldn't get back in as the provided code did not work. There was mold in our first room. We called customer service, they did not want to transfer us as the hotel was "full". Upon contacting booking.com, they managed to somehow managed to find me a new room, next to the old one. Mold, broken shower... We called again. The lady on the phone got angry with me and told me to just sleep in the mold. We left immediately. We did not get a refund from the hotel nor booking. Insurance and other options to get your money back are kinda impossible as this is not an EU country. Even the Swiss Ombudsman couldn't help us. AVOID.

The most appaling booking we have ever stayed in and exited as soon as we could after a horrible night and no sleep. The place is simply unacceptable : - The bed covers were full black dots- which turned out to be pieces of synthetic material from the old headboard covers which was so old and run down it was coming apart. the cover had our skin itching so much that we tried we to cover the bed with to somehow try to sleep and avoid allergic reactions or bites from whatever was causing the itching. - the old curtains fell off when you tried to close them - the bathroom was old and dirty (we don’t think it’s the cleaners fault - the place is simply externally run down) - loud noise from road - noise from other guests coming though the walls - uneven ground and old really shady looking entrance with empty cupboards and Mattresses standing in the hallway which contributed to the generally just really heartless and run down place. Frankly: the reality looks nothing like the photos visible online. How on earth “star California” got any starts at all escapes me! Don’t book it ! We are requesting a refund for the remaining nights we paid and didn’t use.
