I didn't like that much the fact that everyone can see you from other buildings when you have the roller down.

Room very small - for the price, I would have expected more. With 2 large suitcases, you reach the limits. Very noisy. Mattresses were worn out!! It feels like the fire department or ambulance is driving by every 5 minutes at night. Subway station about 10 minutes' walk away. Very dirty neighborhood!

The location is excellent for a first NYC visit: Midtown is extremely busy, but many sights and neighborhoods are walkable. The street-level bar is stylish and lively, although getting a spontaneous seat can be difficult as many tables seem to be reserved.

Breakfast itself is very good, but the service was consistently poor. One morning, despite having breakfast included, we were told to wait 20 minutes for a table due to insufficient staffing. The biggest disappointment was housekeeping. Even after raising it with management, the service wasn't satisfying.
