Hotel location is fantastic, right across from the subway. Very comfortable beds, rooms, and ensuite with a very good layout. Street noise is minimal. The pool is an asset with a nice vibe at the rooftop bar.

As an international traveler, they place a sizable deposit hold on your credit card for damages, which I'm not sure is the norm in the USA. It was quite a shock when you have prepaid and are checking in. This could be because I wasn't aware that hotels did this.

The fact that I arrived at 2:40 for the 3:00 pm check-in time. I had to wait an hour and 15 minutes to check in because my room wasn't ready. I checked in at 4:15. The staff needs to communicate better with each other, especially in the pool area, as they received different information from different staff members.
