Very good beds, very good location, close to a train station that goes to Nara and directly to Kyoto Station. Breakfast is Japanese and Western. Staff is very helpful (with exceptions).

Breakfast could be complemented with fresh fruit juices and more fruits.
The most "spacious" room found on our trip to Japan. The hotel is within walking distance of the "center" of Kyoto, easily reachable on foot.

Well-located hotel, we were able to check in a little earlier at no extra cost. Comfortable room, with a spacious bathroom, and very quiet. Near the hotel there is a street with access to buses and the subway, as well as a great bakery and a short walk from Nishiki Market. In the lobby, there is also a table where you can have light meals and water, coffee, and other drinks are available. The hotel has a laundry room, but only one washing machine and one dryer. We had to wash clothes at a nearby laundromat.

For those with a lot of luggage, the room may be a bit tight. But it doesn't compare to other tiny rooms in Japan.
