The location is very good as it is accommodation close to the center. The welcome is very pleasant by the owner.

The beds are a bit noisy, not to mention the neighbors' dogs that keep barking all night. The accommodation lacks some insulation and the provision of shower gel/shampoo would not be unwelcome.

Great location to explore Funchal on foot. The host was very kind and gave us several suggestions. The room does not have an en-suite bathroom but the shared bathroom was clean and convenient on the same floor.

Hair from previous clients on the floor I suppose... Ants in the bathroom. Narrowness of the room noisy (traffic dogs...). A fan would not be a luxury
