The apartment is located in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance of Downtown. The Old Town is also within walking distance. The basic amenities for a multi-day stay are available. The bathroom is modern and functional. The bed is not very wide by German standards, but okay.

The app for opening the apartment door ultimately worked well, but there were technical 'teething problems.' The lighting equipment is somewhat sparse, especially in the bedroom.

We were able to be relocated to the 13th floor due to a major noise problem on the 5th floor. We left our accommodation after the first night even though we had booked for 3 nights, Booking and the hotel took care of it after a few hours.

Problem with the electronic key (every time we left the room, we had to reactivate the mobile with the identification code. A more or less long response time only by email, as there is no one available by phone. We were never able to enter the hotel's parking lot.

We loved the non-stop views in all directions from floor-to-ceiling windows and two balconies. The kitchen was well-equipped and we had everything nearby if we wanted to stay in for the evening. The location right off the Lachine Canal had pedestrian paths going north to Old Montreal or south to Le Petite Bourgogne.

The wifi had to be the very worst I have ever had to deal with. It was problematic because I did have to do some remote work during my stay and it was totally unreliable. There were no blackout curtains and quite a bit of light pollution filtered in from the living area, which had no door or way to close off from the bedroom. We had to sleep with eye masks on.
