I booked a room with a private bathroom, but when I arrived, they gave me one with an external private bathroom. They told me that's what I booked, but I am very strict about this matter. The shower was not clean as it overflowed due to being so clogged that if you showered for more than 3 minutes.

The location is perfect. We had a balcony overlooking the Acropolis.

There was no check-in or check-out procedure. It was all based on the honor system. We had to return our key each time we left, and there was no verification system for our identity when we returned to retrieve the key. The property is extremely noisy. Dumpsters outside are emptied early every morning. Noise from other guests banging doors can be clearly heard through the walls. The shower water temperature was uncontrollable and erratic. The shower head was not fixed to the wall and could only be used when held. The shower curtain fell to the ground multiple times. There was no 'do-not-disturb' sign for the door. Housekeeping turned off the AC each time they entered, so we returned to a stuffy room.
