I had requested a very quiet room and that's what I received PLUS a beautiful view. The staff was incredibly kind and efficient...even recognized my birthday in the nicest way. The bed and linens were very comfortable, robes, slippers, and all toiletries (except hair conditioner😬) were provided as well as coffee and tea service, plenty of storage, a large safe and a refrigerator.

I arrived before check-in time (in the morning) and luckily the room was ready so I could check in right away, leave my luggage in the room and go sightseeing. Located on Alia Dos Avenue, it has very good accessibility to major attractions without being too crowded with tourists or located on narrow streets. The contemporary design and renovated rooms, although not spacious, had high ceilings making it comfortable. The restaurant, usually operating as a dining room, also provided breakfast, and the facilities and breakfast quality were good. I also tried dinner at the restaurant, and the food and menu were good. It seemed very popular as it was quite crowded, making it difficult to use without a reservation, indicating its popularity as a local restaurant.

There are no particular shortcomings, but there are hardly any restaurants around the hotel, so it is recommended to have meals at the hotel's 1st-floor restaurant or eat outside and come back. The San Bento train station is about a 7-8 minute walk away, making it convenient for nearby trips or visiting major attractions. However, it is a bit far to drag your travel bags, and it is too close to call for a car, making it somewhat inconvenient.

The room did not have an iron, but when we asked for it, they brought it to us and took it back. The breakfast could be improved as there is not much variety.

My room was at the back of the building and below my window was a small pub. I experienced a lot of noise on Thursday and Friday nights until about 3 o'clock in the morning. I checked out on Saturday, so I have no idea how it is on Saturday and Sunday. I was very disappointed with the breakfast for the price paid per night: I had breakfast at the hotel one morning and went out to the city for a more extensive breakfast on other mornings.
