Location is a quiet suburb, with a few restaurants nearby. The restaurant in the hotel looks fine, but we didn't eat there. However, they also served a very good breakfast buffet. The hotel looks beautiful, with very pleasant staff. Free daily happy hour is nice, with delicious wines.

The staff with which I interacted were excellent. I thought the evening free drink hour was a really nice touch. There was also an earlier free wine hour but I never returned from work to experience. The location near to restaurants and the Carlsberg Metro station was great. The breakfast on the first three mornings whilst working was really good as I was one of the first in at 7am. Good service and choice. Sadly breakfast was a bit rammed on my departure morning at around 9.30am so both slipped. Cleanliness was good overall.

There were two issues for me personally. The first was the noise from outside. My room was close to the corner of two cobbled streets and the rumble of traffic, although light, was disturbing in the evening and early morning especially on my departure day when I wished to lie in. At the same time, there was also a bell (church or possibly something else) that chimed every quarter hour. Rooms in the newer extensions facing the courtyard I expect to be quieter. The second issue was more of a 'the room didn't suit me' problem. It was 'post-industrial' by design, bare painted brick walls, stainless steel bathroom fixtures, etc. Austere would be the one-word summary. There was no warmth from a wooden wardrobe although I could hang shirts in a recessed area and no drawers for other clothes. The room was completely white, the bathroom beige. It reminded me of my numerous trips to Eastern Europe in the 90s.

We particularly liked the very stylish room with the round window on the top floor with a great view of the former brewery site. We had the best mattresses we have ever found in a hotel. We enjoyed the entire design of the hotel in a former brewery warehouse as very originally designed. The welcome on the day of arrival was very warm. It was just the right time for us to take advantage of the included daily wine offer in the cozy lounge area upon our arrival.

The breakfast buffet was well stocked, but could have used a bit more variety. For example, we missed some fish or egg variations. Overall, this is of course just nitpicking at a high level.
