The staff doesn't speak english, and doesn't make the least effort to try understanding what you need. I had a few very unpleasant experiences, not friendly hotel for foreigners, unless perhaps you are already used to china and know your ways around. At the end of my stay, I met 2 girls who were speaking a bit of english and were more inclined to be helpful, Joey, and Lucky. Additionally a guy didn't speak english but was less indifferent that the rest, and was ok to translate with an app, i don t have his name unfortunately. The rest of the staff (most of them) are not trained, and have no clue about international hospitality standards. I had to insist a lot to get the room I had booked, they gave me another room, it took me a long long time to check in. There is wifi, but come with an international sim card that covers china, otherwise you won't have access to most of your regular apps.

The day before leaving the hotel, I found 2 cockroaches roaming in the room… when I signaled it at the hotel desk, the guy working there at that moment basically did not look surprised and really did not react even after I showed him the picture I took (the same as the one I post along with the comment)… maybe that was just a bad coincidence but still when this happens, it should be taken seriously. Honestly, first time it ever happens to me this type of experience but I do not want to have both cockroaches AND a total absence of reaction from the person at the lobby who treated it with just silence. In the end, I killed the bugs and sealed my luggage to avoid any intrusion before leaving… however the impression stays sadly.
