The equipment, especially in the twin rooms, could be of better quality, and some rooms have an unpleasant damp smell. The owner is friendly and speaks English, but the hotel is run by a young couple who still seem to have limited knowledge of the region. I would suggest gaining more experience in assisting guests with practical arrangements, such as booking a show in Lijiang or finding a reliable driver at a fair price. Also, the restaurant they recommended to us was never open.

I stayed a few days in Flamingo hostel with my friend. It is a really peaceful place in the center of Baisha old town. It is a very convenient accommodation and there is also a coffee shop with always a delicious daily cake. We are in the downtown center and close to the mountains for hiking. The owners are also very nice and can give you good recommendations.
