I always choose to stay at Siesta when I'm in Sydney, as the staff are always friendly and helpful, and Siesta offers a kitchenette and laundry on each floor which is ideal for short or long stays. Siesta is also close to all forms of public transport hubs, shops, restaurants and attractions.

The staff was friendly and very helpful. The toilets were clean, the communal kitchen well-equipped. The room itself was spartan and okay for one night. The hostel is very centrally located and easily accessible.

The oven was not good. Bring your own pillow and blankets if you're staying longer as they're not that great, but it's cheap anyway.

Great facilities like kitchen, breakfast foods, and lounge areas. Peaceful common areas were beneficial as I was traveling for work and needed my sleep. Check-in was super easy. Fantastic location. One of the most affordable private rooms in Sydney CBD.

Could be cleaner. On a busy road but earplugs work. They have earplugs available in the rooms. Advertised as having air conditioning but the room only had a cheap standard fan - in summer you would roast.
