I stayed at Hanoi Buffalo Hostel during my trip to Vietnam, and it turned out to be one of my favorite stays of the entire journey. From the moment we arrived, the reception staff made us feel welcome. Everyone greeted us with a smile, spoke good English, and made the check-in process smooth and hassle-free. Their friendly attitude immediately made us feel comfortable. One thing I really enjoyed was the social atmosphere. The hostel offers free beer from 7–8 PM, and that hour becomes a great opportunity to meet fellow travelers. People were relaxing, playing games, sharing travel stories, and the overall vibe felt very friendly and welcoming. We also joined the pub crawl, which was a lot of fun. We booked a private room, and honestly, it exceeded my expectations. The room was spacious, had an attached bathroom, a cute little balcony, and a very comfortable bed. After long days of exploring Hanoi, it was the perfect place to relax. The breakfast was excellent, with plenty of good options to start the day. We also booked a day trip to Ninh Binh through the hostel, and the entire process was quick, easy, and well organized. Another major advantage is the location. Situated in Hanoi’s vibrant Old Quarter, everything is within easy reach. Beer Street, local restaurants, cafés, shops, and many attractions are all nearby, making it incredibly convenient to explore the city. Overall, I genuinely felt this was one of the best hostels I’ve stayed in. Whether you’re a solo traveler looking to meet people or someone who wants a comfortable and well-located stay, I would highly recommend Hanoi Buffalo Hostel.

Well-located establishment, every morning around 10 am Luna offers a tour of the old quarter and surroundings, a super interesting and free tour! Luna is a great guide. Well-organized dormitories. Lockers available, bathroom inside the dormitory, decent breakfast.
