The beds are uncomfortable and have terrible pillows. It's also very noisy, both from the outside and from other rooms, so you won't get a good night's sleep. For that price, we have stayed in much better hotels. The 'bathroom' feels like a prison shower. The water temperature can't be adjusted, and you can't shower without washing your hair, which isn't very practical, especially for women. The breakfast is really poor. There are so much better hotels for this price

Very friendly staff, well-kept atmosphere, affordable, youth hostel members are preferred, great location, good bus connection, easily reachable by phone. Breakfast included. Modern furnishings, functional - no unnecessary luxury trinkets, tradition-oriented with references to Breughel, artistically very sophisticated, idyllic courtyard, right next to a church - a skate circus and a chip shop - great :)

Only downside: No kitchen, kitchenette with token function. Microwave is tiny, fridge too small, hardly any dishes, can't wash them. This is a clear drawback compared to the very good overall impression. My opinion: A youth hostel should have a cooking facility. Take a look at Meininger! It doesn't have to be so luxurious. But one should be able to cook spaghetti. If I may make a suggestion - only constructive criticism! There is enough space for a renovation: instead of the large toilet, of which there is another one - to create a spacious kitchen. This would greatly enhance the hostel's atmosphere. And the courtyard would also come to life. But enough complaining for now. Overall, an exceptional hostel!
