The house is very pretty and has a very nice old charm. There are two very cute and cuddly cats. The location of the house is perfect: in the old town but on a perpendicular street. The room was quite large. The bedding was perfect. The bathroom is perfect with hot water. We had a small outdoor balcony on the first floor. The owner does not speak English, you have to use a translator. We understood each other well. For those sensitive to noise, the house is attached to a restaurant that overlooks the main street, which can be annoying but everything stops at 11 p.m. No breakfast but everything you need for lunch is available on the street.

The owner is really friendly and helpful, also generous. It's more like a family house than a hotel. The whole place feels relaxed, quiet, and authentic. He even ordered us a helper to carry our luggage to the bus stop when we left. The room is spacious with traditional decorations. Big and comfortable bed. Big bathroom. Also, bottled waters and umbrellas are provided for free. The location is amazing, it is on the Southside of the old town. A bit further away from the overly crowded old town center (like 15 mins walk). It is quiet, less crowded, and with lots of beautiful old houses. If you want to experience the old town, this is a great location. The hotel is located 5-7 mins from the Southern gate, there's a bus stop with buses coming from Lijiang High-speed train station, and buses going around the city. Very convenient.
