For an overnight stay, transiting between Papeete and the islands, Fare Suisse is perfect. Tremendous value with the free shuttle to/from the airport. We previously stayed at the Airport Motel (unfortunately Fare Suisse was fully booked) and had to pay $20 each way for a 3 min taxi ride. So to have a shuttle included was fantastic. They even have a restaurant on site that was very good and convenient if you arrive later in the day and want to get a bite to eat without having to walk into town. I had the cheese fondue, and while that is not something you think of eating in a tropical location, it was absolutely delicious, and I did not regret my decision for a second. Accommodations are basic, but clean, comfortable, and safe. In addition, the staff are very friendly. You couldn't ask for anything more and I would definitely stay here again.

The shuttle service is very punctual, picking us up for free at the airport. The presence of a restaurant on site (good food!). The rooms are impeccable, good bedding, quiet environment. We would gladly have returned during our stay if there was space!
