Luxurious and impeccable apartment in a beautiful building 3.5km from the airport and 5 minutes by car from the center. The elderly lady who welcomed us is extremely warm, we immediately felt comfortable as if we were members of her family. We would have liked to stay longer.

The apartment is very well-kept and the lady who manages it is lovely, very kind and pleasant. It is evident that she puts a lot of care and attention into maintaining the house.

However, my experience was affected by the location. It is about a 25-minute walk from the center, which initially wouldn't be a problem, but the area seemed unsafe to me, especially when traveling alone. Right in front, there is a detox clinic and a shelter for homeless people, and during my stay, I experienced several situations that made me feel really unsafe: some people followed me on the street, even entered the building with me and asked me to tell them the access code while they were drinking and using drugs right at the building's entrance. It's a real shame because the apartment itself is very nice, and the host is a lovely person. But I consider it important that other travelers, especially those traveling alone, know what the environment is like and consider this aspect before booking. In my case, I didn't feel safe returning to the accommodation alone.

The location is not very good, a somewhat marginal area, and it is far from the center. You can walk there in 20 minutes.

Mrs. Maria is a very kind and caring woman, she welcomed us kindly into her home. The room was spacious and had electric shutters, which we appreciated. The bathroom was very clean and spacious, the same goes for the kitchen, very clean and well-stocked. The apartment is located a few minutes by car from the airport and the center of Ponta Delgada. Absolutely recommended.

You are welcomed by the grandmother who lives in the apartment. Very attentive and friendly at all times. Everything is very well taken care of and very clean. You can use the fully equipped kitchen. Perfect for being close to the airport. They also leave you a welcome detail that is appreciated.
