Loved our balcony. Sat out at night just looking at the gorgeous view. Was spectacular. Mouro and his wife are superb and make you feel at home. Monica the housekeeper is very sweet and does a fantastic job keeping the rooms clean

What a beautiful place we stayed in Villa 5 and it was so pretty and private. The breakfast was amazing with something a bit different every morning and our host Mauro was a delight. Fantastic location next to the railway station and a 5 minute walk to ferries.

One of our bath towels was dirty or stained, but the staff quickly replaced it when we asked. The bathroom had a strong musty smell during the first few days, which were rainy. The toilet seat was broken and patched with tape. These are just a few areas for improvement, considering the price point.

Maura and his wife were terrific hosts. The Villa is beautiful. We especially enjoyed our own private terrace. What a peaceful way to take a few moments to relax from our roaming the streets in Veranna, hiking to Bellano and taking the ferry to Bellagio. This place is magnificent. The breakfast was special and served with such elegance. Very classy. Thank you, Manny and Julie

The location was good, only a 10-15 min walk to the main areas of the town. Breakfast was lovely each morning. Owner was helpful with some recommendations we asked for. Large wardrobe space was handy.

Air conditioning was not working the whole time we were there. We were told by the owner if it’s below 18 degrees outside, then the property switches off access to the A/C (we were hot after pulling our suitcases up to the top floor as there’s no lift and just wanted to cool down). I’m also allergic to mosquitos so didn’t want to keep window open. We tried to use it again the second day and still couldn’t, even though it was 24 degrees outside and we had come back to the accommodation sweating after our day of exploring. It would be beneficial for this to be noted when making a booking, as the listing states A/C is available in the rooms. Also would’ve been good if there was a mini fridge in the room to keep our water cool.
