I stayed at the Smart Cataratas Hotel and I feel like giving an overall positive judgment, mainly driven by the efficiency of the services and the kindness of the staff, which more than make up for some flaws in the structure. Strengths and top services: The staff's welcome was exceptional. The real added value was the transfer service: they came to pick us up directly from the airport to take us to the hotel, an attention that we greatly appreciated. The cleanliness is impeccable, with clean towel changes every day, and the buffet breakfast is really excellent and rich. Strategic location: The location is very convenient: it is in the center, very close to shops and a supermarket. Also, it is ideal if you want to visit the waterfalls, being about a 14-minute drive from the Brazilian side. To improve: The only negative aspect is that the structure is a bit cramped and the rooms are old; they would definitely need to be revisited and renovated. Despite the need for modernization, the impeccable services and strategic location definitely raise the evaluation bar. Recommended for visiting the waterfalls!

Firstly, they charge us for parking, in addition to what we already paid for the stay. The parking is tight to get in, which ends up scratching our car. The spaces are not numbered, we were left without a spot on the second day, even though we paid! The power goes out all the time. The Wi-Fi doesn't work that well. TV doesn't work that well. Communication is terrible. They do not provide the WhatsApp number of the front desk. Every time we went out, we had to leave the key at the reception. The hotel owner on the first day entered without my authorization and tampered with the safe. The only thing that was worth it for the price I paid was the breakfast.

The parking is quite complicated, a ramp that leaves 2cm on each side of the car. The bed I slept in was not very good.
