Quick check-out - simply leave the key. Very important when heading straight to a flight. The bar had a varied menu and it was possible to have a good meal in the evening.

Very limited bar opening hours. No coffee (except from a vending machine). The room is very small, no separate shower room - the balcony is inside the room, need to consider the privacy concerns of two people sharing a room.

The room was very small and uncomfortable. There was no wardrobe, only a few hangers placed next to each other, making it practically impossible to hang clothes without them wrinkling. There was also no hairdryer. The bathroom and shower are separate, and the sink is so small that it is very uncomfortable to use. Additionally, it is the first time in all my years staying in hotels that I have been asked for a card as a guarantee for possible damages in the room. Something like this had never happened to me before. I find it especially surprising in a hotel that, on the other hand, offers such basic facilities, to the point of not even having a hairdryer in the room. I admit it was my fault for not paying enough attention to all these details when making the reservation. However, every time I have stayed at Ibis hotels in other areas of Madrid, I never had any doubts that the experience would be good. That's why I didn't expect to find such different conditions in this hotel. The experience has disappointed me a lot and, honestly, it has put me off staying in this franchise again.
