The aircon in my room didn't seem to work. The room was wayy too hot (not sure if this was a centralized aircon) but it made the room feel stuffy at times. Additionally, it was rather unfortunate that there were no Halaal catering options at the facility, I was re-directed to the resturant across the road.

I had a wonderful stay at Neighbourgood Newlands from 19–22 August 2026 and can honestly highly recommend it! The room was clean and comfortable, the bed was lovely, and the shower with always-hot water was a real pleasure. I also really appreciated the coffee, tea, kettle and small fridge in the room – these little touches made my stay so much easier and comfortable. The staff were always friendly, welcoming and helpful, which made such a difference. The restaurant was another highlight – the food was excellent and the service was great. A huge plus for me was the safe undercover parking. This is something you cannot always find in Cape Town, where street parking is often the only option, so having secure parking made me feel completely at ease. Thank you to the whole team at Neighbourgood Newlands for making my stay such an enjoyable one. I will definitely book with you again on my next visit to Cape Town and will happily recommend you to my friends and family. Thank you for a lovely stay! I look forward to returning.
