Choosing an apartment at Hlemmur Suites was one of the best decisions we made for our visit to Reykjavik. This is our second trip to Iceland, and we wanted a nice central location in an area that wouldn't be too loud and would give us space to relax, plus the convenience of grocery shopping for easier meals and walkability to bus stops, groceries, dining, and sightseeing. Hlemmur Suites hit every single "want" with 5 stars. We had the large deluxe studio for 2 people, and chose not to add the breakfast. The location was perfection: a food hall just outside the front door with options for every taste, a Bonus grocery store just a few short blocks away, and tour buses stopping just across the street. The apartment was clean and perfectly stocked for as much food prep as we wanted, with a full stovetop, full-size refrigerator, dishwasher, and all the food-prep cookware. It was incredibly comfortable, safe, and peaceful. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

We literally have zero complaints. The only tricky part was getting the hang of the front door code, but once we did, we were golden! This was user error, not something the owners did incorrectly.
