The location was the best part. Right on the edge of town so everything in Aspen was a mere 10 minute walk from the building. And the parking was easy.

The facility was definitely dated, featuring older appliances. During our stay, the keypad on the door broke, and it took half a day for the maintenance person to fix it. The issue was especially problematic since we had booked our lift tickets for that day, and they were locked inside while we were left outside. It took over an hour for someone to arrive, which almost ruined our skiing plans, especially since lift tickets are quite expensive nowadays. Additionally, a pipe in the basement parking lot broke, causing water spillage and ice to form in the parking area. Fortunately, this was repaired fairly quickly. Being in Colorado, it’s hard to complain too much, but every morning, someone was smoking near the elevator, which was an unpleasant way to start the day (at least for us).

Considering that this is one of the cheapest places to stay in downtown Aspen, I think everything is perfectly acceptable and I could get past the outdated feel. I felt like it was clean and the location is great.

My only real issue was the wifi. I wouldn't recommend counting on it if you need to get any real work done - it was very frustrating and unreliable. There are some stains in the carpets - I feel like a good carpet clean would have a significant impact on the place.
