There are certain things very deteriorated like the faucets and in general the bathroom.

The restaurant and the food were excellent. The staff's response to the problems with the pool and the sea was great and appropriate as compensation.

That there was no information when booking that the pool is currently under repair! And also no information that currently the sea is not suitable for swimming due to the algae.

I liked that it was a small-sized hotel. The indoor pool is nice, even though there is no air circulation (feels like suffocating).

Besides the massive presence of seaweed related to the season (which the hotel could have removed instead of spreading all over the beach in front), and besides the rooftop pool under renovation (with consequent noise throughout the day), the hotel needs maintenance (the faucets are all corroded by saltwater). The shower was dirty, as well as a couple of towels. Also, the hotel is too expensive for what it offers (it is far from the nightlife of Punta Cana) and furthermore Booking did not recognize the price difference, since on the hotel's official website the room costs 30% less. Punta Cana is definitely too touristy.
