A leak came from the ceiling, they removed the air conditioning because water was coming out very close to the bed... it was uncomfortable to sleep with the noise of the leak.
Close to the train station and one of the ports of Salerno to travel to other places on the coast by ferry, about a 15-minute walk from the historic center. Nearby places to eat out and supermarkets. Very spacious room, all clean, small kitchen perfect for breakfasts or simple meals. The manager of the apartments contacted us via WhatsApp, very attentive and friendly, available at all times. 100% recommended

Breakfast did not have a gluten-free option and we could not use it.

You do not have a sea view, although it is stated. However, you look out onto a large parking lot with tall trees that completely block the sea view. On the quite large balcony, there is a hanging chair with a completely broken seat cushion. The staff often do not respond at all or speak poor English, they refer you elsewhere, everything is only by phone or messages. There was no one at the given arrival time. After waiting outside for half an hour, the apartment was only shown in a few minutes. In the evening around 6:00 pm, the hob turned out to be broken. We could not prepare the purchased food. We spent the whole evening trying to get in touch/help both by phone and messages. There was no response or we were referred to someone else, and if there was a response: conflicting messages. Several times we asked if the staff could come by: no response. We received a message after 10:00 pm that we could move to another unknown apartment elsewhere in the city, without any further information. Together with booking.com, we indicated not to do that: it was raining and very late (then walk by ourselves), no information about the apartment but only a photo of a key code, much worse location. At 10:30 pm, we went nearby to buy food at McDonald's. We also could not use the purchased breakfast items. Only at the end of the afternoon of the next day (also our last day) was the hob repaired. The costs made for the discarded food and the extra payment for the purchased food were not reimbursed by the accommodation. Also did not receive any other compensation. Furthermore, the space is very small. We made a tour of Italy with more than 10 accommodations. This one was the worst in every way: small space, staff not reachable/present in case of problems and upon arrival, no sea view although it is stated, poor price/quality ratio.
