Guests consistently mentioned the cleanliness of the rooms and bathrooms.
The staff, especially Marcelino, received high praise for their friendliness and assistance.
The hotel is well-located opposite the old museum and central for exploring the city.
Rooms are reported as comfortable and well-decorated despite issues with noise.
Some amenities were satisfactory; however, issues with soundproofing were noted.
Many guests felt they received reasonable value for the price paid.
Breakfast was not included, and some guests noted limited food options.
Overall, guests had a good experience, marred only by traffic noise.
Everything was great. We specially appreciated responding to messages before arrival, instructions, and late check-in option. There's an elevator, so you don't need to climb stairs. The instructions on finding the building were helpful and read them carefully. Although building looks old and neglected, all the spaces where the rooms are good looking. You can have breakfast in your room for extra 3$, and it's nice and tasteful (better falafel than in nearby restaurant). The room was clean, and the view was nice. Regarding the noise, some people wrote it's noisy, but if you book a central place I think it's not reasonable to expect complete silence. Cairo traffic is special, and you can't avoid it, but for us it wasn't loud. We liked hearing it. AC works well. All the employees are great, and always willing to help. And no one is asking for extra money, which is wonderful. We would specially like to thank Eman, Iriny and Rhama, for being very nice and helpful and showing us the best from Cairo - beautiful humans, smiles and warmth. It's nice to see humans, and not robots, and it's nice to see honest smile. Thank you to all, and would like to come back.

I actually liked everything. The building itself would need a bit of renovation, but the floors where the rooms are look great.

Unfortunately, the entrance doesn't look like a hotel

The best thing is the friendliness of the staff
The location is good. We liked the oriental breakfast they offer, although they bring it to the room. The simple room was clean. The bathroom was good. Hot water was good. Air conditioning was good. The staff was very very friendly. We used their transportation service to get to the hotel and that also made things easier. What we liked the most was the staff who were truly kind.

The entrance. It's an old building and the entrance looks like an abandoned and dirty building, as the hotel reception is on the second floor. The elevator is like a horror movie but it works. Not suitable for sensitive people. The room didn't have a window although in the photos there was a window, it had a door that led to the balcony, you opened it to have light and air but all the heat came in.
Great, friendly staff and an excellent location for anyone looking to explore lively Downtown Cairo. The Nile is also just a short walk away, making it very convenient for sightseeing and getting around.
