We'd ordered a breakfast to take with us but it didn't happen. The kitchen whipped up a nice bacon sandwich so not all was lost
This beautiful lodge, with lots of character and charm, located directly at Wilson Airport is wonderful for a short stay. Short distances to all attractions. Excellent cuisine, perfect breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff. The fireplace evenings are very cozy.

This is a charming small hotel with a wonderful feel of the history of its place. The rooms are very nice, and the restaurant and bar areas are so charming, as is the covered outdoor seating area. If there is even the slightest chill in the evening, you can sit by either stone fireplace with your cocktail. Every single staff person with whom I interacted was helpful beyond measure and always with a smile. Add to that the location - if you are taking bush planes to safari airstrips, you could not be more conveniently located to the airport - and I think this place is a gem.
