The hotel is very nice and the location is great, but what stands out is the staff. They are so welcoming, dedicated, and focused on guest satisfaction that you really feel at home from the first step you take in the reception. We asked for help with different things (food delivery, hints for souvenir shopping, ...) and they always helped. I have never experienced this level of dedication by the staff before, congratulations.
The hotel is very nice and the location is great, but what stands out is the staff. They are so welcoming, dedicated, and focused on guest satisfaction that you really feel at home from the first step you take in the reception. We asked for help with different things (food delivery, hints for souvenir shopping, ...) and they always helped. I have never experienced this level of dedication by the staff before, congratulations.

The staff were excellent, quick to help with every aspect of our stay including shopping online. Special thanks to Fu Fu and Jennie. A very relaxing quiet place central within the interesting Hutong area. Beds very comfortable and a sunset BYO on the roof very lovely.

Some public areas could be a little cleaner though our room was immaculate.
Location, facilities, friendliness, service, and cleanliness are simply outstanding in this hotel. If you want to experience the old Beijing flair and at the same time not give up comfort and luxury, you should definitely visit this hotel. It is a very small, somewhat hidden, but fantastically beautiful apartment hotel where we felt extremely comfortable from the very first moment. I would like to particularly emphasize the entire service team. All the staff were always friendly and helpful to us and supported us in every situation. Special thanks to Jenny and especially Fufu. Fufu was even available to us after our stay and during our onward journey and helped us exceptionally dedicated in a difficult situation. Such service is anything but self-evident and has left a lasting impression on us. If you want to experience something special in Beijing, in our opinion, you can hardly miss this hotel. We would come back anytime and can wholeheartedly recommend the Happy Dragon Hotel.
