Overall, facilities were outdated and the floor was dirty. Staff were a bit reluctant to speak/help with cash issues (although a receptionist did finally give cash back when I used my card). Other staff didn't want to help with restaurant recommendations. No idea why. 3% fee for paying with Revolut, despite having Yuan in my account (other hotels in Guangzhou don't charge 3%)
