The hotel is in a great location and is quiet. The breakfast was good. The lady serving breakfast is extremely friendly, polite, and unobtrusive. In one word: unique. It also meant a lot to us that after check-out, we could store our luggage at the reception and explore the city without worries during the day. When we returned to the hotel late in the afternoon, we could also shower and change. All the hotel staff is very friendly.

When we returned to the hotel late in the afternoon, we could also shower and change. All the hotel staff is very friendly.

For the hotel's level, the ground floor rooms in the courtyard are completely unsuitable. Without windows. You feel like you are in a garage or a car workshop. The room does have a door through which you enter, but you cannot have the curtain pulled back on the door (as shown in the picture) because there are seats and a table right in front of the door where all hotel visitors sit. We visited the hotel as a family with two adult children. We booked three identical rooms: Luxury Quadruple Room measuring 45 m2, overlooking the inner courtyard. Two couples got a nice, airy, and bright room on the upper floor, while one couple got a ground floor room. The accommodation in this ground floor room was indeed 40.00 EUR cheaper for three days than the other two rooms (which means only 13.00 EUR per night). But nowhere in the reservation does it say that the room is on the ground floor and without windows and natural light. The pictures are not a true reflection of the actual situation! Because of what was said, we were convinced that we were booking three completely identical rooms. We were misled. You certainly do not expect that for such a negligible price difference, you will get such a significant difference in the quality of stay. So be careful: the first mentioned Luxury Quadruple Room measuring 45 m2, with a view of the inner courtyard (only slightly cheaper than the second mentioned Luxury Quadruple Room measuring 45 m2), is without windows, without the possibility of natural light, certainly of a significantly lower category and not worth that money!
