I stayed alone in a twin room at the hostel, but I thought it was a great deal with a reasonable price and excellent location. It's about a 3-minute walk from Sule Pagoda and downtown is within walking distance. The hotel staff can speak English and are kind. They also offer laundry service for a fee. Breakfast was included, which was nice. The room was clean, well-ventilated, and the toilet didn't smell.

I think not having a window was a compromise due to the low price.

Overall a great stay! The front desk staff warmly welcomed me upon arrival and were super friendly and helpful throughout my time in Yangon. They happily answered all my questions and are a highlight of the hostel. Everything is very clean here, beds, sheets, towels, bathrooms, common areas, etc. Only the locker area underneath the bed was very dusty. The common area is nice and offers free tea, coffee, and water. And I love that they have a coworking space available for its guests. A/C blows throughout the rooms and common areas. The location is great too, right opposite a convenience store, a nice cafe (Bar Street Slow Bar), and walkable distance to many other cafes/eateries with a good connection to downtown Yangon. It also has a restaurant on the top floor with a swimming pool and pool table/games. Limited vegetarian options but the taste is good, and they offer shisha too. The staff here were friendly enough, maybe surprised to see a foreigner. Wishing the hostel and staff all the very best, I'd definitely come back. Kyay zu ba 🙏🇲🇲🏡
