- no breakfast buffet, only forced from the menu card. Hardly any free choice (no jam, fruit & vegetable selection, movable coffee machine trolley... Due to renovation work, our breakfast desire has decreased.

I received an upgrade upon arrival. Staying mid-week, I bet it’s hotel policy to keep the best rooms occupied, which shows a guest-centered approach. Room and bath were spacious and modern with a slight view of the street. 10-minute walk from Brussels Central station. Location is perfect. 100 meters off Grand Place yet relatively quiet. As a solo traveler, I appreciated the staff’s attentiveness and interest in my visit. Great recommendations for dining.

Through no fault of the hotel, the front restaurant renovation was in full swing when I arrived. I’m sure it’s done now and lovely but made entry and exit a little difficult. Staff made every effort to guide guests through it safely and with a smile.

The location was good, within walking distance of Grand Place, the station, shops, and supermarkets. The front staff were friendly and kind.

It was noisy until dawn due to the weekend, and I couldn't sleep. The public safety in the neighborhood is bad. No refrigerator or bathtub in the room. Breakfast consisted of ham and cheese, whole wheat bread, orange juice, and coffee only. With the yen depreciation, the price of 40,000 yen per night is expensive with these facilities!
