Everything about the hotel itself was perfect for me. Any issues I had were resolved quickly and the staff were friendly and helpful. The adaptor I brought with me did not work in the room. It is my European one and I found out in Belgium and this hotel you need one with a hole for the grounding pin. The hotel staff happily sorted an adapter for me. It was conveniently located near a metro shop and within walking distance of a lot of shops and places to eat. I was a little nervous about staying after seeing reviews about it not being safe for solo female travellers. I understand where the reviews are coming from but as a city girl I felt fine heading out late in the evening and the hotel has security so they are doing the best they can.

The system was apparently in summer mode which is why it wasn't working to heat my room. I was provided with a radiator which worked fine once I raised the issue but it is something I think needs to be checked with the season change
