Didn't get the room I had booked weeks in advance. The 'upgrade' room had two small beds - not what I wanted. Altogether an Ok place to stay, if a little in the years.

Upgraded to a double room because original room felt like jail. Room 605 was good; not wonderful, just good. Although there is a big(ger) fridge and there is an electric portable stove, there are no plates or spoons and forks. There was 1 big pot and 1 big pan and 1 metal laddle. So, not usable. There is an electric water kettle and 2 cups and saucers with 2 teaspoons. Lobby is very nice and A/C cool, other common areas like the hallways, feel like you are in a boarding house, not in a hotel and it was hot, no air circulation, no air conditioning or even fans in those areas. Location for my purposes was very good, everything was walkable. Mall is very near, less than 3 minutes brisk walk. One has to be aware of the surroundings and the possible criminality, though. But the hotel has people stationed right outside to hold the door and assist with transport all the time which was very good. There is a dedicated space in front of the hotel for parking if one was to be picked up or dropped off. Staff was excellent, front desk, security, wait staff, housekeeping, everybody!

Breakfast variety was very limited and the ingredients were not Philippine quality at all. There is rice, 1 soup, 1 vegetable dish, 1 meat dish, hotdog or sausage, 1 pasta dish, some sorry bananas sliced diagonally (I wish they just kept them whole as they were very small ones to begin with, having them sliced and the edges browning made it look like they were not sanitary enough to eat. Sliced watermelon that did not look fresh (this was in all the days I was there, not 1 day good, 1 day not so good-same every day). There is a water, juice and coffee station; a live egg cooking station, pancakes, sliced bread. That is it!
