The rooms don’t look like the pictures, it was a bit more dated than the photos look. I’m comparing against cheaper hostels I’ve stayed in and they were much better. It does the job but I’d give it a mid way mark.
The thing I liked about this hostel was the breakfast and dinner system, the balcony view, hostel location, and also the staff - everyone very friendly and helpful.

Providing food 2 times makes life easier and the hostel location is also great, and everyone is very friendly. The balcony view is the best here; day and night time you can see the life of Sydney from the balcony. I will come again.

I love this place! I just arrived in Australia and the Tequila Sunrise has been the best start. It's perfect if you're looking for a good atmosphere and an active lifestyle. The service is top-notch, especially Luciana's, who is super friendly and makes you feel at home from the first minute. Totally recommended!

Everything was clean, it was cleaned every day and cleanliness was taken care of. Breakfast and dinner are provided. Despite the 10-bed room, it is comfortable and quiet.

Limited storage space, as the same bed is provided for two people as for one person. Locker available, but too small for backpacks. The food did not convince us, but it depends on the expectations.
