I got a mail a couple of hours before I arrived, where they reminded me to pay the 2 euro tourism tax, since this was not handled via booking.com, even though the reciept from booking.com specifically stated the opposite. Except from that - all good!

Very convenient location you could walk to the airport if you really wanted to. The staff will keep your baggage for you if you need to check out but you leave later. Everyone's pretty respectful, the facilities are good because you get your own kitchen and there is a shop and a restaurant right outside of the room

The place could do with a bit of a refurb some of the locks on the pods don't work but you get lockers to keep your stuff in. They could try a little bit harder to clean it however I wouldn't describe it as 'unacceptably dirty'

Zero hand soap in the restroom area. It's simply unsanitary to be using a restroom, then not washing your hands properly with soap, then climbing the ladders spreading germs for the next person. The shower area was quite dirty when I was there. It was hot and the front door stayed propped open until late, then I closed it because I didn't feel safe sleeping with the door open. People were arriving at random times (well i get it, it's a hostel). Some couldn't get in (after the front door was closed) because they didn't request the code for the door, I had to let them in, because I felt bad for them. Overall, i was quite disgusted with this place, and was relieved to leave.
