Great location. Very relaxing as it is set back in a green garden. The rooms downstairs are dark, but the ones upstairs are great. Very clean, very good beds and showers. Beautiful rooftop terrace where breakfast is served and there is always something to drink until late. It's cheaper to book taxis (also for day trips) yourself. Otherwise, price/performance ratio is really okay for slightly higher demands. Very nice staff, available 24/7 if needed. Overall, a rather upscale hostel and good for travelers who like to have their peace.

Can't fault this place or the guys here! I stayed for one night on the way through town and it was so comfortable, friendly and well located I came back again at the other end of my trip. A great base for Thamel as it's only a few minutes walk into the heart of the action but is geographically on the edge of the area, so felt a step away from the noise - in fact both rooms I had here were SO peaceful and relaxing, despite being so central. The staff were excellent, so helpful and chill, and the roof cafe is a lovely start to the day. Tons of great coffee nearby too - I would definitely stay here again.

I had booked a dorm. Bed was comfortable... Shower and toilets on a different floor and not only for the room but usable for all guests.
