When I booked a few days in advance, I asked for a room with a balcony on the top floor... but I guess they didn't read the reservation request, as when I arrived they told me there was nothing left that night but a room without a balcony on the bottom floor. When I went in, there was dirt in the entrance area and someone else's hairs everywhere, plus the smell of people smoking on the fire escape next to the room. Not great.

There was no storage space in my room, not even hooks to hang anything. The room was okay for one person, for 2 people it would be tight with luggage.
The staff was not very welcoming. Young women hang around at the reception all day on their phones without even looking at new arrivals or providing information while the reception is empty. The smell in the room was unbearable: the cleaning teams spray an ultra-fragrant spray normally reserved for toilets. After leaving the room to air out for nearly 5 hours, the smell still caught in the throat and head. The cleaning is not done properly: stepping out of the shower and placing my feet on the floor for a few moments immediately turned them black and left marks on the sheets. The bath mat had obviously not been changed considering the various hairs, hair, and mold stains.
